Hi, I'm Maelea!
I absolutely LOVE working with other people! After 25 years in public education (7 of that as a high school assistant principal), I decided to retire and bring my love for and experience with collaborative groups to the entrepreneurial space.
One thing...... I had NO IDEA how lonely it would be to work by myself!!!! After years of interacting with (LITERALLY) hundreds of people every day, I found myself working in complete isolation on every task involved in building my business! For almost two years, I was talking during networking meetings about collaboration, but I wasn't able to actually DO ANY collaboration, myself!
After I got my mastermind groups up and running, I realized I wasn't the only solopreneur who was suffering!! The folks in my groups were experiencing the very same loneliness, burnout, and lack of creativity that I had been experiencing.
I am absolutely thrilled, now, to be able to help them share their brilliance in a way that moves ALL OF THEIR BUSINESSES forward! They are helping one another, holding one another accountable, and forging deep, trusting relationships that are going to pay them dividends far beyond the time that we spend together during our meetings.
